Obamacare Has 'Bent the Insurance Cost-Curve North, Not South,' Insurance Executive
cnsnews ^ | 6/1/12 | Susan Jones

That's because the law requires health plans to cover individuals, such as adult children, that they did not cover in the past; it bars health plans from putting lifetime and annual dollar limits on benefits; and it requires plans to provide preventive care services -- including contraceptives in a few months' time -- at no out-of-pocket cost to the enrollee, Edward Fensholt told the House Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions.

I am so looking forward to November 2012.

I am so sick of the left wing Communist/Saul Alinski Mental Midgets who are in charge of this country.

Just proof of the basic principle of economics...”There is no free lunch”. Somebody has to pay the cost of these things and it will be us. Most concerning to me is the ending of the pre-existing conditions exclusions. When these pre-existing conditions are waived there is nothing to stop people from not having health insurance, paying the fine and then quick get a policy when it appears they will need expensive care. Imagine not having car insurance and then when there is a tornado warning or hurricane bearing down quick signing up for a policy.

40 years ago when I was in my 20s, nobody that age cared diddly squat about health insurance.

I troll undercover on a forum where there are a lot of 20-somethings. The reason they are so desperate for this insurance now is sexually transmitted diseases, which are rampant (and potentially expensive) in this age bracket, but rarely mentioned by the MSM.

More vote pandering by the Baraqqis.

As I, but be prepared for the Obama whine session. “The USSC is so radical, so activist, so mean and greedy. You need Me, I, Myself, The Won, for one more term to fix this.”

It will be painful to listen to without destroying the TV/PC. ; )

Insurance costs will continue to increase, unless SCOTUS rules against the whole thing.

The intention is for insurance costs to rise, forcing employers to drop their coverage in favor of Obamacare. Ya know my liberal brothers, who are bright people, just can’t seem to do the math. Broader coverage for more people equals increased claims/increased premiums - a forehead slap would be appropriate about now.

” The intention is for insurance costs to rise, forcing employers to drop their coverage in favor of Obamacare”

Exactly.

When 'mandated insurance" defines the price that can be charged, what must be covered and for how long, whom must be covered and no effect of pre-existing conditions, it is no longer insurance!

It is clumsily disguised welfare. The paradise for parasites. The financial prison for net taxpayers.

It is a clumsily disguised State execution scheme for the elderly and handicapped.
