My daughter is starting her second year of teaching English in Japan. One of the first trips to Tokyo that she took, she went to a “cat cafe”. She had a fun time. It is basically for people who do not have a pet, but would like to spend some time with a pet. So, the cat cafe.

Knowing the great pleasure I get from my one cat and two BIG dogs, I can only feel sorry for the poor Japanese who just don’t have the space to live that way.

Do you pay money to go in and pet the cats? Or is that just a (free) customer getter?
