LOL!!! As if a passport is going to stop him from going into Mexico. All he needs is an LA Dodgers ball cap, an empty back back and being able to say in espanol, "I'm going back for another load" and he'll be good to go.
If he could get to Peru, he’s home free. His mother is Peruvian, which I’m guessing makes him a citizen. They’d probably never extradite in this situation.

In the 70's I crossed at Yuma w/o undergoing inspection and, appalled at the third-worldness, crossed back within the hour. (I was with, among others, a former "Palestinian" Christian who checked in with the US Customs guys on the way out to ease reentry.)
