Destroy all public employee unions.
As FDR would want.

I don’t doubt this about FDR. He ws a complex person; certain of his views and statements seemed at odds with his basic liberal/socialist personna. I would like to know more about the philosophical basis of his opposition to public employee unions.

FDR was plain enough about his opposition to public employee unions. Simply put he did not want public services of any sort held hostage by striking employees. He remembered, for example, when it had been necessary for the Army to run the railroads during a railway worker strike. And Reagan didn’t put up with PATCO’s stupidity either. I imagine these cops are going to have some ‘splainin’ to do.
