Boehner And Republicans Are Helping Obama Destroy America
The DAILY RANT ^ | JUNE 1, 2012 | Mychal Massie

Posted on 06/02/2012 2:34:27 AM PDT by 867V309

But Obama has had a committed group of electeds aiding and abetting his treasonous assault on our freedoms and it’s not ipse dixit when I say that. John Boehner, Mitch McConnell in the Senate, the RNC, and Karl Rove are as responsible for our decline as the Socialist Leftists and Barack Obama, if not more so. And I will tell you why.

TROLL ALERT

From the article: Have We The People been betrayed and are not our traditions being subverted by Leftists? Of course. Has Obama led us to the very brink of collapse in his commitment to transmogrify our nation into something that would make Marx and Lenin proud? Absolutely, without question.

I'd say the author actually made a lot of sense - spineless RINOs have, indeed, allowed it to spiral down. They talk a good game, then capitulate/"compromise" to the point they do become enablers of the treason that is going on.

What a load of crap

Which part is crap?

Boehner was ineffective in the debt-ceiling debate and the payroll-tax debate. The Republicans refused to use Obamacare as reason for change in Congress during the 2010 elections because they were afraid of how the media would portray them. So the Tea Party groups used it to bring about the most dramatic change in Congress in some seven decades. That led to Karl Rove attacking our efforts

Boehner is doing all in his power to undermine the ousting of Eric Holder because he and the Republicans are more concerned what the media will say than they are committed to doing what is in the best interest of We The People.

Obama has committed any number of impeachable offenses and yet the Republicans do nothing. Obama is destroying our country and the Republicans haven’t done a thing to stop him. The illegal gun smuggling and illegal gun dealing reaches to Obama, Hillary Clinton in the State Department, and Eric Holder in the Department of Justice–but the Republicans did nothing and still do nothing.

The author makes good points. Not crap at all, IMO.

There have been many good people who go to congress and become entraped in the physical goodies thrown at them daily.

Once you falter, they've got you. A little blackmail here, a few kickbacks there and you're one of them for life.

I don’t know this guy, but this sounds like the wild raving of a wide eyed lunatic. Next year (when the GOP controls both houses) if things don’t improve , let him rant. For now, tune him out.

Men naturally rebel against the injustice of which they are victims. Thus, when plunder is organized by law for the profit of those who make the law, all the plundered classes try somehow to enter — by peaceful or revolutionary means — into the making of laws. According to their degree of enlightenment, these plundered classes may propose one of two entirely different purposes when they attempt to attain political power: Either they may wish to stop lawful plunder, or they may wish to share in it.

Woe to the nation when this latter purpose prevails among the mass victims of lawful plunder when they, in turn, seize the power to make laws! Until that happens, the few practice lawful plunder upon the many, a common practice where the right to participate in the making of law is limited to a few persons. But then, participation in the making of law becomes universal. And then, men seek to balance their conflicting interests by universal plunder. Instead of rooting out the injustices found in society, they make these injustices general. As soon as the plundered classes gain political power, they establish a system of reprisals against other classes. They do not abolish legal plunder. (This objective would demand more enlightenment than they possess.) Instead, they emulate their evil predecessors by participating in this legal plunder, even though it is against their own interests.

It is as if it were necessary, before a reign of justice appears, for everyone to suffer a cruel retribution — some for their evilness, and some for their lack of understanding.

The Results of Legal Plunder

It is impossible to introduce into society a greater change and a greater evil than this: the conversion of the law into an instrument of plunder.

Boehner and his GOPe toadies have shown no guts whatsoever.

The author is correct to observe that Boehner & Co spend too much time worrying about how the press will view their actions (the press hates them already, just for being Republicans) and NO TIME doing the right thing. There are impeachable offenses being ignored here, from Fast and Furious to the “hot mic” incident with the Russians. (Oh, and “natural born citizen” still hasn’t been settled yet, either.)

Hopefully that over-tanned crybaby will lose the Speakership after November, though I’d be happy to see him tossed out tomorrow, in an uprising by the Tea Party rank-and-file.

“What a load of Crap”

No what a succinct statement of the truth. The Republicans led by Tammy Faye Boehner and Mitchie the Kid McConnell have done nothing to stop Obama’s march toward Marxism. They have no courage of conviction and can’t even get rid of Eric Holder a serial criminal if I ever did see one.

Expect nothing from the current Republican leadership and you will never be disappointed. Until we replace them with conservative patriots nothing will chane.

Not one vote from Republicans for Obamacare..... Do you have any idea what that means in the real world ?

Let me know when your Right Wing Utopia arrives,
Having grown up in a household where William Buckley’s ideas were the topic at dinner my understanding is that conservatism is based on an the understanding and an acceptance of human nature.
Human Nature being what it is there is no perfection...... None!

Conservatism is a long time struggle against an ideology that is based in utopian delusion It is not a wild expectation that every politician will somehow do what You think they should.

Also If you pay attention you will notice that congress has all sorts of arcane rules that politicians have to out maneuver.
In my view this congress has done a very good job of holding the line against a determined ideologue.

Democrats will be toast next time around if people are smart enough to vote for Republicans. Conservatism is ascendant and Liberalism is going the way of the DO DO Bird....and yet the author of this piece and people like you act like the real enemy is a party that Ronald Reagan championed and which he would be proud of today

“In my view this congress has done a very good job of holding the line against a determined ideologue.”

How exactly have they done that? Voting agains’t Obamacare which is hugely unpopular was not exactly a heroic acheivement.

Have they held the line on the debt ceiling? Uh no.

Have they blocked activist SCOTUS appointments (Kagan and Sotomayor)? Uh no.

Have they kept the EPA from running amok with our energy and food production? Uh no.

And on and on.

Like I said before if you are waiting for the current republican leadership to put up a significant fight again’st Obama prepare for disappointment.

I do.

It means that unless The Supreme Court does the right thing, we'll be destroyed by Obamacare.

I think the take-away is that without Conservative votes in Congress, we lose. And the simple fact is that a Conservative Republican party wins more often than a moderate one. Think Dole and McCain.

I don’t exempt the new Tea Party congressmen. They have voted enthusiastically for every totalitarian measure that has come up.
