How can slavery coincide with the Golden Rule within Islam?

I guess about the same way the Golden Rule coincided with slavery in Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity and Judaism for all of human history till the last two hundred years or so.

It is also a fact that orthodox Judaism prescribes very different standards of conduct from one Jew to another as compared to gentiles. Christianity is unusual in that its moral prescriptions are more or less universal.

Really? The Founders would have cheerfully accepted human sacrifice?

I think not.

Putting words in my mouth is a poor argument. Judicial Activism is usually construed as foolishness propelled by absolutism. This is what you are advocating, not me.

Islam is a cult. Not a religion. Violence and mayhem are its eucharist, bloodletting in the name of Allah its sacrament, subjugation of women its creed. None of these are amenable to the Constitution, much less Western Civilization as a whole.

Again, the Constitution is not a suicide pact. You are advocating foolishness as virtue.

The U.S. should NOT allow other nations to build their government buildings in the U.S. A mosque is a government building like a town/city hall, state capitol or federal capitol building. The only reason religious ritual is allowed in a mosque is because, while Islam is political, it is only considered a religion because it controls every facet of a persons life, social, legal, familial, religious, etc. Because it is a government system, islam wants to rule over, dictate and dominate all those who do not believe in it and do not want to obey the rules of governing system of islam, which is not a religion. There is NO Free Will in islam. It is about bondage and slavery to the central governing body of islam which is housed in mosques which are the government capital buildings of islam.

Other religions have evolved AWAY from the concept of one man being the possession of another. The ideology of Islam, however, is that the slavery is an integral part of their Shar’ia law code, the “them” in the “us versus them”. Slavery is prescribed as the means by which the elitist few, the Noble Islamic Gentlemen, may maintain and extend their despotic rule, over all the lesser people and the entire female gender.

There is no equality of men and women under Shar’ia law, and very little affirmation of any degree of humanity extended.

But then, life is uncertain.

You appear to have difficulty understanding English.

The Aztec religion is a religion and is therefore protected under the Constitution.

This does not mean it protects their human sacrifice practices.

IOW, the Constitution absolutely protects any and all religious belief. It does not protect all religious practices. While somewhat greater latitude is given actions that are religious in nature, extreme practices such as human sacrifice are not protected.

IOW, beliefs (thought) are protected, actions not so much. I don’t see why this is difficult to understand.

A terrorist training camp masquerading as a demonic cult of blood thirsty savages should certainly receive Constitutional protections.

It's right there in The Constitutions vaporous emissions from the sphincter, much like those emanations from the penumbra that legalized the murder of the unborn.

Very nice, a “golden rule” type of concept in the koran.

“As you would have people do to you”...

well...

A serious muslim would certainly say if they were to fall away from islam that another muslim should kill them.

There, it’s easy.

They can adhere to the idea that anyone who is not muslim should either pay a tax to them, convert or be killed - and they can simultaneously adhere to what we confuse as being synonymous with the golden rule.

They are saying what they mean. Westerners simply typically don’t get what muslims are saying.

A) there is no exit from this enemy force for it’s members other than death

B) the enemy force’s long-term goal is to enlist everyone on earth as members and therefore to subdue the world; the first part of their plan involves subduing America and Europe through subversion (treason) by being let into those countries legally then changing them from within

C) the enemy force’s primary tactics are lying and intimidation

That is precisely the key distinction. “Thought crime” in any form is antithetical to any free society, however society has both a right and a duty to establish norms of public behavior for the common good.

Guess I figured the general rule that most totalitarians use Christianity or aspects thereof to justify themselves would have applied.
