Then who is to blame for what we read and see first hand every day? Pets being killed on the spot for no reason? Doors being blown open and innocent people being killed because the police cant even get the god**m address right? Unlawful detention? Planting false evidence? And this is happening more frequently by the day. I have seen some of this firsthand so if you feel the police are being unfairly treated you have only yourselves to blame.
Not to mention the cops in New Orleans going door to door and confiscating the weapons of residents after Katrina. But they were only following proper procedure, right?
The first, fourth and fifth amendments were contravened here, and I am gobsmacked that a fellow citizen entrusted with upholding the law (the highest of which is the Constitution), is defending these blatant jackboot tactics.
