Not so fast to put this on the backs of the GOP
Remember the “debt crisis” of 2011?
Remember all the GOP finagling with Harry Reid and obama to tie the debt increase to spending cuts? Remember the threat of our debt being downgraded without a deal?
Remember obama and democrat threats (not bluffs) to shut down the US government starting with social security, MEDICARE, and military pay - if the first black president didn’t get his allowance increased by a properly civil GOP?
So now it is “the GOP House” that ran up the debt in the past 15 months?

The House still had to agree with all of the above so they are responsible as all appropration bills must come from the House!
