You'll never get his/her attention that way, you didn't address the comment to "sidebar moderator). He/she cannot read every comment on every thread.
If you want a reply that you posted to be deleted, go back to the reply and click "report abuse" Tell the problem and ask that it be removed. The moderator may or may not comply but it least you'll get his/her attention.
