Move Along, Nothing To Cheese Here: Associated Press Spins Wisconsin Recall

Even the New York Times, in an article by Jeff Zeleny today headlined "Recall Battle in Wisconsin May Snarl Obama Camp", acknowledges that a victory by Republican Gov. Scott Walker in Wisconsin's recall election on Tuesday could spell trouble for President Obama's re-election effort.

But while the Times might be bending to reality, the Associated Press soldiers on in support of Obama. With even a Dem poll pointing to a Walker victory, the Associated Press, apparently fearing the worst, proclaims in an article today that "Few November clues to be found in Wisconsin recall." Authored by correspondent Thomas Beaumont, the AP tells readers "you'd be wrong" to see Wisconsin as a national harbinger. More after the jump.

Sensing defeat, MSM starts to downplay importance of Wisconsin recall. Ping to Today show list.

Obviously, the AP hasn’t consulted with Debbie Wasserman-Schultz who proclaimed the Wisconsin Recall race as a bellweather for Novemeber.

isn’t SCOTUS supposed to deliver the Obamacare ruling this week too?

Barry may be about to have the worst yet of his string of many bad weeks.

The left, the media in particular, fear Walker for one simple reason - he is producing results that cannot be attributed to anything other than his policy decisions. The budget surplus, the job growth, and the lowered union membership are all the result of his actions and they cannot spin it fast enough to make it appear otherwise.

Pure and simple, Walker is showing that conservatism works.

Fact: A Scott Walker victory on Tuesday is surely the political death knell for Obama and his anti-America ilk of Democrats!!! Go Scott Walker!!! Onward to victory!!!

Winning can be simply pushed under the carpet. Winning BIG will ensure people take notice. WI, my prayers are for you. Vote and get the conservatives out to vote. 0-0 until the polls close. Praying for you.

I actually tend to agree with the AP on this one. Was the Ohio ballot referendum that overturned their union reform a national harbinger? Obama has not been an issue in this race.

I hope I’m wrong but the Dems may have narrowed this to the point it’s too close to call.

I don't care how they spin that defeat - as long as it IS a defeat.

It’s the same story every time. They are so predictable, you can tell what the Democrats’ internal polls are saying by how much importance the media is assigning to a local or state election.
