You have a candidate, there is no “We”, and Romney has been pushing socialised medicine since before he was a presidential candidate - your personal laziness in not finding out who he was before today’s media stories does not change that.

Like it or not in the real world, in this election cycle, there are two candidates for president who have any chance of being elected. We must first remove the communist from the white house before we start working on what to do with our American Candidate. I don’t even have to like his policies to know that I am much less concerned with someone who will work for America rather than against it.
