Why don't you people give Obama a break?
He was only visiting the guy, Ayers, who happened to live in the same neighborhood in 2005 for a few minutes so that Ayers could help him write his book, the book that Obama---with his excellent command of the English language---claims that he wrote so skillfully by himself.
So give Obama a break. He only has a few more months left as president anyway.
1. I also hope that reporters jump all over Obama with questions about his now obvious close relationship with Ayers back in 2005.
2. I hope that during this 2012 presidential campaign, reporters don't let Obama quickly dismiss the Obama-Ayers' relationship as meaning nothing like they allowed Obama to dismiss the Ayers' relationship during the 2008 presidential campaign.
3. It looks like Obams's now famous 2008 statement about Ayers has come back to haunt Obama 4 years later: "Ayers was just another guy in the neighborhood", or something like that.
4. And with the recent revelation that Obama attended a bbq at Ayers' home in Chicago on July 4, 2005, it is now easier to believe what Obama critics have been claiming over the past 4 years: Ayers must have helped Obama with his book, because the excellent, smooth writing style of Obama's "Dreams of My Father" points more to Ayer's smooth writing style than to Obama's clumsy writing style.
5. So now that the public has learned that Obama attended a bbq at Ayers' home on July 4, 2005, I challenge reporters to do their job and confront Obama so that he will explain in more detail what his true relationship with Ayers has been over the years. For instance, they should pressure Obama until he explains if Ayers did or did not help him write one or more of his books.
I guess Tom didn't have as much to share as he thought he did.

This is not the first physical sighting of an Obama-Ayers connection. Back in the 1980's, a since-retired Postal Service letter carrier recalled seeing then-young Obama at the swanky suburban Chicago Ayers home property with William Ayers' mother. Obama was introduced to the postman by Ayers' mother as a friend of her son who was staying over with her. (The postman specifically remembered the incident, since it was rare to see a black person in that neighborhood.)
Later came the appearance of Obama at the Ayers-Dohrn home in Chicago for Obama's first political fundraiser c. 1996.
