Wisconsin election officials issued over 206,000 absentee ballots ahead of Tuesday's statewide recall election, the Government Accountability Board reported Monday.

The absentee figure is often used to gauge the percentage of voters likely to come to the polls on election day. In a race where both sides insist turnout is key, the GAB predicts between 60 and 65 percent voter turnout, a record for a gubernatorial election.

In the 2010 general election for governor, voters filed 230,744 absentee ballots total.

Unlimited absentee voting, motor voter, same day registration, third party registration, unkempt voter rolls, zombie votes, no voter id . . . all mean an eventual adios amigos to the republic.

Absentee ballots are the easiest way to commit voter fraud usually.

And we’ll have Holder’s DOJ watching for out for it too it was announced, yet he also said that voter fraud isn’t an issue a while ago.

How he keeps his job I have no idea.

IMO, every voter, every even year should have to personally register with his/her county supervisor of elections before the midterms or general elections.

IOW, purge the rolls after every vote for Congress. It is a civic honor and duty to vote that should require effort on the part of every American. Too lazy to register prior to 90 days or so before an election? Tough. You are probably a parasite and shouldn’t vote anyway to relieve the producers of the property.

The momentum is unquestionably on our side, but the danger of Voter Fraud and Intimidation by RATS is very real...

Here’s an example of the latest tactics. Since your voting history is a matter of public record, the left-wing GWC is sending mailings that show your neighbors names, addresses, and whether or not they voted in the last 2 elections. The message from the thugs is clear: We know who you are and where you live, and you’d damn well better vote the right way.

Here’s an example of the “voter stalker” mailing:

Not to complain but your excerpt leaves out the most crucial part of this story:

“The GAB tracks absentee ballots issued in one-third of the state’s municipalities, including major voting districts like Milwaukee and Madison. At those polling locations tracked, voters have requested at least 206,128 ballots as of noon Monday.”

When i read the exceprt, I though absentees were running just a bit behind 2010. Reading the story shows that they are THREE TIMES higher!!!

This is VERY WORRYING.

Are the officials comparing the names of those requesting absentee ballots with the obituaries?

Perhaps I read the story wrong, but the 206K vs. 230K are from the same base of counties/districts. The way I read it, absentee ballots were actually BEHIND earlier elections.

Madison Wisconsin sent out 32,000 in 2008, only 16,000 this year

Thank you. I've been saying the same thing for years. NO voter rolls, period. Register before every single election, every time. WITH a photo ID, and be prepared to show that ID to vote as well.
