Years ago President Franklin Roosevelt called the idea of public sector unions "unthinkable and intolerable." Not long after, AFL-CIO President George Meany declared that it was "impossible to bargain collectively with the government." They were both speaking to the morality of public servants making demands on taxpayers' earnings under the threat of withholding public services -- or as FDR put it, "looking toward the paralysis of government by those who have sworn to support it."

The MSM is in panic mode saying this is an “ominous sign” that voters have been mesmerized by conservatives promising to scapegoat unions.

"Scapegoating" the unions for causing fiscal problems is like scapegoating Hitler for killing Jews.

I think of this as kicking the unions in the balls. And I want to see more of it!

More like sticking a knife in their guts and watching them bleed out.

AFSCME has lost 54% of its members over the past year. The teachers union has lost 6,000 out of 17,000, and will lose more as school contracts come up for renewal. The loss of dues revenue is crippling for the WI dems over the long run.

Where are the black folks? According to exit polls 94% of them supported Barrett.

Apparently they weren’t invited to the Barrett victory party.

DU’s are sure ticked off.

“I Will Not Aid A Republican”

“In the future if someone is in trouble and I find out they are a Republican I will just walk away. I won’t help them in any way.”

http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002773512

Virtually all the others agree. One claims to be a member of the volunteer fire dept., but says they would ignore a fire call if a Republicans house was burning down.

They had something like this when Bush was still in office. A city was hit with a bad snow storm,,,lots of stranded motorists. Almost all of them said if they saw a stranded woman and child, and the car had a Bush bumper sticker, they would not help them. Not even call the police. Isn’t 21st century politics wonderful?

All I have to say to DU:

Sorry about that.

(Consult any Brother for the literal translation, but I hope you’re not real sensitive.)

As far as any of ‘em claiming to be any kind of First Responder, if their only loyalty is to the lib cause, I’m more than willing to let their worthless a$$es stay off my property and I’ll take care of my own.

That includes paying for the “services” that they’d probably halfa$$ anyway.

I’ve noticed that being a liberal tends to make a person look terrible. Just look at these people!

To loosely borrow one of Rush's 35 Undeniable Truths, Liberalism is about giving ugly people access to the mainstream of society.
