The nation will miss the spectacle of “birther” Orly Taitz challenging incumbent Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, final results from Tuesday’s first top-two primary show.

Voters went for Danville autism advocate Elizabeth Emken, endorsed by the California GOP and beneficiary of statewide party mailings. The final results from the California Secretary of State show that Emken easily led the pack of 23 challengers, with 12.5 percent of the vote, or 454,937 votes. Taitz, from Orange County, picked up 3.1 percent, or 113,563 votes.

Feinstein crushed the opposition with 1,801,422 votes, and is the hands down favorite to win in November. . . .

I think she’s a false flag operative whose goofy demeanor and incompetent behavior in court is meant to discredit an otherwise VALID ‘birther’ movement.

I hope Orly realizes that she has been robbed and demands a recount.

Voters in 2010 passed Prop 14, which set up an open primary with the top two-vote getters going into the November election run-off, regardless of party.

Thus, there are several races with two candidates of the same party facing off with no third-party alternatives (although that apparently didn’t happen in the U.S. Senate race, though that was a possibility seeing how many Republicans were running and splitting the vote, which is why the CAGOP starting endorsing candidates this year)

All thanks to the RINOs in the CAGOP such as Abel Maldonado and Arnold Schwarzenegger and Charles Munger, Jr.

At least Taitz put her self up there on the public ballot, instead of running off to some other obscure, forum-shopped courtroom like the gay cabal and the civil-rights crowd have always done.

Ironic, since she's a lawyer. She submitted herself to the People, instead of filing a stacked-courtroom motion to abate the other guy.
