How is this any different from the IAF Su-30MKIs that exercised in Red Flag 2008? I don’t think the MKM is different enough from the MKI to claim a “first.”
It has more European (pred. French) and South African electronics systems replacing the Israeli content on the MKI, but you are right, it’s not different enough.
