[The trees burned off last year, then seasonal rains created landslides that buried the lines and valves under 12-16 feet of earth and boulders the size of Volkswagens.]

I realized it was a dumb idea the second I posted it. The forest is part of the watershed for the springs and lake.

Burns my biscuits to hear the Forest Service idiots cry about all the incidental environmental damage a bulldozer will do to the area after what the mudslides did.
