If you do that then you ain’t following Thomas Aquinas or the Nichomachean Ethics. Show me where either of them says, “shoot, I’ve got this disorder and I didn’t choose it but, well, God blesses my disorder and when I act upon it, He won’t mind.”

Well, being a Generation X-er, I must admit I am a strange hybrid of essentialism, Neo-Thomistic philosophy, and a large dose of "rights for the disabled, the minorities, the weak". The last is my downfall. I went to college in the 1990s. Enough said. It is a miracle I even had mentors who schooled me independently in classical Latin and ancient philosophy. :(
