Obama's New Party and the Bill Clinton's Third way....these "Democrats-in-name-only" do not believe in the Republic nor did they honor their sworn oaths to honor and defend the American Constitution....That oath should be etched in granite with criminal proceedings if failed to honor that oath. Too many are taught in college that the law does not apply to them if they disagree with it.....a young lawyer just said he could not defend if he did not agree with the law....this is what we are blighting our judicial system with. Obama is the first Marxist to be elected by an emotional electorate of the Politically Correct...color of skin was high on the list.

"Obama's New Party and the Bill Clinton's Third way...."
IMHO, Clinton's Third Way was a lot less radical than Obama's New Party. The "Third Way" was more of a centrist philosophy. Tony Blair was the biggest exponent of The Third Way -- dragging his socialist Labour Party kicking and screaming to the political centre. (Not to mention being the most important ally in the W.O.T.)
AFAIK, Clinton was just being a pragmatist. Gingrich kept him from moving left -- & "The Third Way" gave Clinton ideological cover for doing what he was forced to do (i.e. move to the centre). Obvioulsy, I don't actually know Clinton's motivations or thought processes -- but, my speculations do seem to fit with his well-known proclivity to "triangulate".

Florida Anchor Barbara West Responds to Controversial Biden Interview
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,444507,00.html
WEST: You may recognize this famous quote: From each according to his abilities to each according to his needs. Thats from Karl Marx. How is Senator Obama not being a Marxist if he intends to spread the wealth around?
BIDEN: Are you joking? Is this a joke?
WEST: No.
BIDEN: Or is that a real question?
WEST: Thats a question.
BIDEN: He is not spreading the wealth around. Hes talking about giving the middle class an opportunity to get back the tax breaks they used to have.
WEST: What do you say to the people who are concerned that Barack Obama will want to turn America into a Socialist country much like Sweden?
BIDEN: I dont know anybody who thinks that, except the far right-wing of the Republican Party.

They could unearth good quality video of bam executing Treyvon Martin execution style, and there would be those who would brush it off as a foolish indiscretion not worth discussing. He was “blindsighted” by the heat of the moment as Ashleigh Banfield would say.

Yo, Rush, welcome to the party. You’re only about 4 years late. FR knew about this before the election. You could have reported on it but just like the other talking heads shied away from it.

We have a much looser party system than a lot of other countries, but a politician with hopes of a real career would have to be foolish or self-destructive to register or become a member of a tiny splinter party. More likely, he or she takes their votes without taking the suicidal step of actually joining up.
The New Party was developed on the model of New York state's minor parties, which provide an additional party line candidates can win votes on. In New York, all the votes for a candidate are totaled together, which ever party line they run on, so the Conservative, or Working Families, or Right to Life, or the Liberal, or the Socialist, or (at one time) the American Labor Party could provide a candidate's margin of victory. In that way a minor party can have a greater influence on politics.
Most states don't allow this. When a court case which attempted to force the New York system on Minnesota failed, the New Party declined and eventually dissolved. If Obama had any political sense at all back in those days he probably was never actually a member of the New Party, though he certainly courted their support.
