The sky could turn from a reassuring blue to a blank white if scientists are forced to take drastic action to tackle global warming, experts have claimed.
By injecting aerosols which scatter light into the atmosphere we could reflect more sun away from Earth and cool the planet.
But the knock-on effect would be the scattering of red particles around the atmosphere that wash out the blue.
The result would be skies that turn into a foggy or hazy white instead of the crisp colours we are used to on a summer’s day.
According to report in the New Scientist, such a measure would cut by a fifth the amount of sunlight that makes its way to Earth, though the reduction in the amount of blue in the sky could be much more pronounced.
Ben Kravitz of the Carnegie Institution for Science in Stanford, California, said that mankind could turn to geoengineering to solve our problems with the environment, a drastic solution once things have taken a turn for the worse.

It’s already happening.
First, the Soviets and the Chinese routinely game their weather to try and get the weather they want.
Second, there are planes shoveling something into the atmosphere leaving the very same trails we were trained to spot in the military.
Condensation trails, which in a few minutes look like ‘pearls on the end of a string’ which was a sign to put on MOP gear or gas masks, are common in WA state.
I’m shocked some environmental kook hasn’t screamed at someone about all the badly combusted fuel coming out of all the planes flying about that turn sky blue days into overcast days. Like we need more of that here in Western WA.

Certain propellents of aerosols have been banned — e.g. CFCs.
Some aerosols are banned (or severely restricted) — e.g. particles of soot in smoke stack emissions. Other aerosols continue to be allowed — e.g. bug repellant, sun screen spray.
An aerosol is a suspension of fine particles in the air. The term is almost always misused in the media — hence the confusion.
The upshot of this report is that mental illness is vastly underdiagnosed, particularly in the “scientific” community.
