Certain propellents of aerosols have been banned — e.g. CFCs.

Some aerosols are banned (or severely restricted) — e.g. particles of soot in smoke stack emissions. Other aerosols continue to be allowed — e.g. bug repellant, sun screen spray.

An aerosol is a suspension of fine particles in the air. The term is almost always misused in the media — hence the confusion.

Watermelons would spray us like roaches if they can come up with the excuse. The “green industry” would love dipping into the Treasury for more geo engineering money. They are already spraying barium and aluminum.
