TVGuide ^ | June 7, 2012 | Saddie Gennis

It's been an astounding 20 years since a woman moderated a presidential debate, and many Americans seem ready for change.

So far, more than 90,000 people have joined a campaign on Change.org asking the Commission on Presidential Debates to include at least one female moderator in one of the three 2012 debates between President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Didn’t that PBS Gwen whatever moderate a debate back in 2008?

Vice President debates do not count unless Lloyd Bentsen zings our VP.

What a pathetic list of choices.

I was going to nominate Sara Palin.

How about someone with big hooters?

Sorry to be so crude, but what are the next questions: When will we have our first Latino moderator? When will we have our first LBGT moderator? When will we have our first MLB player that has batted at least .300 facing left handed pitchers during regular season nighttime games?

Just put someone competent up there to ask relevant and unbiased questions.

TV Guide's "list" of candidates is hysterical!

I had looked for the selection "none of the above," "you've got to be kidding" or even "all of the above.". Now that could have been a fun choice watching a cat fight instead of a pretend fair & balanced debate.

Seeing as how you don't even know how to spell her name, maybe you should let this one slide on by.

Sarah Palin or Michelle Malkin. No RINOs, no liberals and definitely not Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer or any other liberal media hate-toward conservatives spewer. IMHO George Stephanoupolus took presidential debate hosting to the lowest level that could ever be achieved (working hand in hand with the WH in preparation for the “war on women” they thought was going to earn them brownie points with viewers. Instead it outed them for the lamestream media scum they are.

There are no femail non-partisan reporters/journalists. The woman closest to “fairness” would be Camille Paglia. She might be too intellectual, though.

Ann Coulter would do,. She would make asses out of both candidates and herself, exposing what a farce these ‘debates’ really are.
