Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Hu Jintao met in Beijing Tuesday to discuss security plans. They focused on resolving the conflict in Syria. The meeting comes less than a day after an EU summit in St. Petersburg where EU leaders put pressure on Russia to help prevent civil war in Syria.
Russia and China both agree there should be no foreign intervention in Syria. Russian president Vladimir Putin is in Beijing for a state visit, and is being hosted by his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao.
Both Russia and China have opposed foreign involvement, but have voiced support for Kofi Annans peace plan for Syria. As Al Jazeera reports, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry outlined the two countries plan to resolve conflict in Syria.

LOL, wishful thinking. Russia and China both got screwed by NATO on Libyan oil and gold, it'll NEVER happen again. Besides, five other temporary Security Council members will also veto. US involvement in Syria will have to be extra legal.
