Missouri Republican Rep. Todd Akin, who has pushed to protect traditional marriage on military bases, also denounced the ceremony.

Anyone know if Todd voted for the repeal of DADT? Does anyone besides me wonder how the repeal of DADT ever got through a Republican controlled House?

First of all, he voted against it.

Second of all, the repeal was passed in the lame duck session of the 111th Congress (Pelosi's final term as speaker) on 15 Dec 2010.
