He probably changed his mind after reading all the pre-speech negative feedback. LOL

“Let me be clear. The economy that I inherited was in . .. uh, er . . .shambles. Through my leadership, I-I-I-I uh, er rescued it from going over the uh . . . uh . . . cliff that the Republicans were uh . . . uh . . .driving us toward.
Currently, we are facing many uh . . . uh . . . er . . . obstacles that are not my fault. Hurricanes, tornadoes . . . the European debt crisis . . . uh, er . . . cannibals. . . oil speculators. However, I have kept the stock market from going all the way down . . . um, maybe I shouldn’t have phrased it that way. . . “
