If that proves true, that’s treason, in my opinion. Treason is one of only two crimes in the US Constitution that are punishable by death.

How can you pardon someone unless they have been convicted? It this goes to trial, it would not be finished before the election is over. I think Holder is betting his ass on the the wrong horse. Romney will win.
Ford pardoned Nixon before there was even an indictment. He simply pardoned him for any charges that may arise from the watergate matter.
