The G.O.P.’s Gay Trajectory [Info on Super PAC focused solely on celebrating sodomy]
NY Times ^ | June 9 2012 | Frank Bruni

OVER the past year, the main story line in the push for marriage equality has been the ardor and success with which leading Democratic politicians have taken up the fight...But the progress within Republican ranks has also been pivotal...

Paul E. Singer, 67, a billionaire hedge fund manager who is among the most important Republican donors...Now, Singer says, he’s providing $1 million to start a new “super PAC” with several Republican compatriots. Named American Unity PAC, its sole mission will be to encourage Republican candidates to support same-sex marriage, in part by helping them to feel financially shielded from any blowback from well-funded groups that oppose it.

A photo of this pro-homosexual billionaire is at the link below. He made some news in 2007 as a Rudy supporter.

I will vigorously oppose the celebration of sodomy. The Republican party must not allow this to be part of its platform...and candidates supported by this Super PAC must be defeated.

The gay guy is mistaken in believing that pro-gay politicians are threatened only by rich campaign donors. They are actually in a lot of trouble with the electorate ~ if they are Republicans!

The American people demonstrated in 2006 that they just don't approve of gay Republican politicians ~

Still, I say TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN.

What’s the New York Times main motive for talking about this?

This is not about Marriage “equality”. There is equality of the sexes which is the most important.......and to restrict it is not a misapplication of “equality”. The Marxists are destroying meaning of words again—just as they are destroying the meaning of the word “marriage” by putting the irrational, immoral, sexist concept “homosexual” in front of it.

By promoting the vulgar act of sodomy (a vice which does not promote the general welfare or natural rights of children and reduces them to a commodity with no humanity)-—you force out God’s Standards of Right and Wrong-—you impose a pagan worldview which is inconsistent with logic, reason, science and Natural Rights from the Creator.

This concept-—being forced by law-—is Unjust Law and unconstitutional. Read my tagline.

I was informed earlier today that Mitt Romney shouldn't waste time on social issues. Guess we'll see if that just means those filthy conservative social issues.

Yeah, look, this goes beyond Presidential politics. Presidential politics has a place in this debate, yes—the Kenyan Communist has thrown his hat in with the sodomites...but it goes well beyond the Occupier.

This PAC is going to attempt to cut the rug out from under grass roots conservatives, whether they’re House or Senate candidates. If successful, they’ll move on to state legislature candidates, etc. We cannot let that happen.

Romney is doing best when he is staying focused on the Obamanomics failure. Most people will be voting on the economy—this issue has to be fought internally—like abortion used to be a debate among Democrats until the Infanticide Industry won in that party. We cannot allow the pro-homosexuality faction to win in ours.

I will say that I am not someone who thinks homosexuals should be punished or abused or picked on—they are, as all of us are, flawed and sinful. Hating the sin and loving the sinner does not have to be a cliche.

Spoiled billionaires like this guy are known for cultivating and supporting RINOs over conservatives. But his willingness to support single issue politics is detrimental to everyone in the long run.

In a way it is the flip side to some stupid person who spills hot coffee on themselves in a restaurant, so for the rest of their life campaign to legally ban hot coffee. They do not improve anyone’s life, just add another stone to the huge pile of nanny-statism.

This is an attempt to defeat the Republican party from within by putting a wedge between Republicans that fractures the party.

RINOs will always approve of 'gay marriage' to get a pat on the head from the liberal media (if that) and conservatives will oppose it. Vigorously, one hopes.

Like abortion, it's a divisive issue and eventually, guys like Singer hope to use it to soften up Republican candidates and then, voters into giving tacit approval to 'gay marriage' by weakening the party's opposition to it. With the GOP 'elite' in charge, that won't take long.

The only recourse is to fight against those GOP candidates that take money from this PAC, oppose them for nomination and make it known to the GOP that 'gay marriage' is a deal-breaker when it comes to parting with money for party candidates, should 'gay marriage' cease being opposed by the GOP. 'Gay marriage' is not popular with the electorate and there is absolutely no reason for the Republican party to embrace that ridiculous, destructive concept. Apathy is our enemy here.

Mitt Romney, the Mormon, is there to defend the unchangeable bible teaching that marriage is one man/ONE? woman.

Traditional values warrior Mitt Romney, Mitt Romney is our rock:
"If we are to achieve the goals we share, we must make equality for gays and lesbians a mainstream concern. My opponent cannot do this. I can and will.

We have discussed a number of important issues such as the Federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), which I have agreed to co-sponsor, and if possible broaden to include housing and credit, and the bill to create a federal panel to find ways to reduce gay and lesbian youth suicide, which I also support. One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clinton’s “don’t ask, don’t tell, don’t pursue” military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nation’s military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share.

As we begin the final phase of this campaign, I need your support more than ever. By working together, we will achieve the goals we share for Massachusetts and our Nation."

So we will know who is who based on who gets this perv payoff before the election. Conservative pacs can then move in for their opponent.
