Federal Project Seeks More for Immigrant Integration
The Revered Review ^ | June 8, 2012 | Steve Peacock

The U.S. Department of Education is embarking upon a new program aimed at making it easier for immigrants to integrate into American society, an effort that the department claims is “vital to the social and economic strength of the United States.” However, the initiative makes clear that immigrant integration is secondary to the program’s overarching goal: Tapping into a global — rather than a domestic — pool of workers.

The federal government must intensify its efforts to successfully integrate immigrants into American society, particularly since “almost none of the recent workforce growth is coming from native-born workers,” according to the project’s Performance Work Statement, which TRR located via routine database research.

Don’t forget: This program — according to its own planning documents — makes it clear that immigrant assimilation (whether they want it or not) is just one component of this. I try not to sound angry — especially as I am the one reporting this project — but MY OWN DAMN GOVERNMENT IS EMBARKING UPON A PLAN TO RECRUIT, YES, RECRUIT, PEOPLE FROM OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY TO FILL JOBS HERE!?!?!?!?!?!

I’m not trying to pat myself on the back too hard here for finding this program, but why isn’t it being reported by the mainstream media? It’s not like the documents for this initiative are unavailable; this is not simply my opinion I’m spewing here. This is documented governmental insanity, and I’m pissed off as all hell.
