On Friday in response to a Fox News reporter's question about Obamacare, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), a University of Virginia Law graduate, invoked the name of Rodney King calling him a "great philosopher."
Not since Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) expressed concern that the addition of 8,000 service personnel and their families onto the island of Guam might cause it to tip over have Americans heard such moronic craziness.

If she’s not the dumbest human being alive she is certainly in the running.
I don’t know what’s more disturbing: That Sheila Jackson Lee called Rodney a great philosopher (heh, that’s actually pretty funny) or that Sheila Jackson Lee has a UVA law degree (or actually, a law degree from anywhere not involving mail order). I have to go with the latter.

And there in lies the problem in Washington; People who are smart and could do a good job of running our country won’t run for those offices. Ergo we get the ding bats, and shallow end of the gene pool to represent us.It is not going to change until we have a complete collapse of our system and then perhaps we can start over, with some elected official who have an IQ higher than a brick.
