“Teachers, Police and Firefighters”. That’s what dems want us all to think is the entire public sector.

Sounds good though doesn't it? Obama wants to protect you and teach your children.

These jobs are paid for locally. Washington should have nothing to do with this. Seems Obama and the dims what local and state governments to be dependent on the federal government for these payrolls.

Schools, Fire departments, and Police departments got a large chunk of their money from the federal government. Just watch the news or read the papers (or reprints of said on-line.

On the last stimulus BILLIONS were paid out to just such entities.

Our local news had a story about teachers who were laid off when the stimulus money from the last round ran out. Of course the reporter-ette was crying about how the "children are the ones who were hurt when that money ran out and not just the now unemployed teacher".
