Oops.
Drone?
Looks like someone’s maintenance actions didn’t find the root cause of the problem.
Saw this on NCIS
From the pic, it looks like it may have been a MQ/RQ-8 Fire Scout.
Note what looks like rotor blades in the bottom right of the pic.
Crashed. Was the pilot hurt?
snicker.
What I wanna know is what Chris Muir knew and when he knew it:

As one general put it “if something goes wrong, you don’t have to write a letter to a drone’s mother.”

It (was) a BAMS... the Navy maritime surveillance version of the Global Hawk... This is not helpful.
I’ll bet that every county in the country has at least one drone flying around spying on the people. And I’ll also bet they aren’t being flown by a deputy sheriff. They’re being flown by a controller in Florida just like all the other drones. It’s part of the government’s war against terrorists, foreign DOMESTIC.
And how are they paid for? They’re in the Homeland Security Agency’s budget.

This is paid for the by US Navy and they were testing it. It’s intended for overwater ISR.
Who paid for the one the Montgomery County, Texas Sheriff has?
Sorry to hear that.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Chinese counterfeit parts?
Is this a thread about a UAV that a Texas sherriff has?
No, it’s about drones flying all over the country spying on people. And I just asked a question. But I’ll answer it myself. Homeland Security paid for the sheriff’s drone.
Next question is who’s flying it and where is the pilot?
Pretty scary when the hope of retaining domestic Liberty may hinge on the DHS/EPA/etc. getting screwed by our 'trading partner', isn't it?
