Carney to reporters: 'You all ought to do your jobs'

Press secretary Jay Carney won't promise that the White House will steer clear of taking quotes out of context, as he said Republicans did with President Obama's comment last week that "the private sector is doing fine."

"That's a rather remarkable question," Carney said during the White House briefing Monday, adding that he wouldn't "speculate" on whether the Obama team would avoid taking Mitt Romney's comments out of context.

A carney is a poorly educated man who works for carnivals and sideshows and who is responsible for sweeping up any messes.

I agree with Carney that the reporters “ought to do their jobs.” But my idea of “doing their jobs” is probably not what he has in mind.

“A carney is a poorly educated man who works for carnivals and sideshows and who is responsible for sweeping up any messes.”

He often has more tattoos than teeth, has poor personal hygiene, and is not known as a generally truthful person.

So far, I would say the press secretary seems to fit the description on most counts.

NOT taken out of context. In response to a question from the press, Odumbo says:

The truth of the matter is that, as I said, we created 4.3 million jobs over the last 27 months, over 800,000 just this year alone. The private sector is doing fine. Where we're seeing weaknesses in our economy have to do with state and local government....

Here

Separately, the libtards are "disliking" the video. I'm surprised it hasn't been taken down by youtube-bama

If reporters had ‘done their jobs’, Obama wouldn’t be President, and Carney would still be doing whatever he was doing before becoming a dancing-puppet....

Hey, Jay-C, perhaps your life & occupation would be more joyful if your boss did his job.

Jay went to Yale and got his degree in Russian.

Unfortunately due to Ronald Reagan, Jay’s apparent plan to get a job with the USSR could not be completed.

Actually the context was worse.
The piddling Private Industry is doing well enough to take care of themselves - we need to focus like a laser beam (or mutant bass with laser beams fixed to their heads) on shoring up the government jobs. We need to plow more money into the government bureaucracy to save the economy...

That was the context ... No one with a twisted viewpoint like that should be allowed to get anywhere near a job requiring responsibility...

Wouldn't that be advocating bullying, or is that just for atomic wedgies?

Obama was actually blind squirrel correct about state and local governments being in trouble. He didn’t explain why but it’s because politicians and unions conspired to make lavish promises that taxpayers can’t possible keep.

Yes! President Obama occasionally doesn't do his job because he goes of the script carefully provided by the most important being in the White House, TOTUS.

He flubbed the message TOTUS had carefully provided for him during his "the private economy is doing fine" comment. He later seems more or less to have reverted to TOTUS' script, but by then it was too late. Poor TOTUS! What's a bunch of silicon chips to do?

1.) “ ... he (Carney) wouldn’t “speculate” on whether the Obama team would avoid taking Mitt Romney’s comments out of context.”

or:

We reserve the option of lying and/or misstatements ... ?

2.) “You all ought to do your jobs.”

or:

Go back to gushing over the presentdent and stop repeating any idiotic statements he makes ... ?
