This creates a conflict of interest. Cafeteria workers will just cook more food every day than needed. All they have to do then is to let it cool off for a few minutes (to have it qualify as “expired”) and then reheat it.

Are you sure ? Can you recall anything made in a school cafeteria that you’d actually WANT to take home ???
