Hillary Clinton Ducks Question On Presidential Run (Doesn't rule out bid)
The Boston Herald ^ | Monday, June 11, 2012 | Chris Cassidy

A week after her husband’s awkward off-message praise of Mitt Romney’s “sterling” business record embarrassed the Obama campaign, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton shook her head but then shrugged and laughed when a questioner at Wellesley College yesterday suggested she’d be the next leader of the free world.

“If you get elected as the next president ...” began a woman from Yemen, who was interrupted by nearly 25 seconds of applause from the friendly crowd at Clinton’s alma mater yesterday, where Clinton and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright were inaugurating the Women in Public Service Institute.

Clinton shook her head multiple times, but as the cheers grew, she shrugged her shoulders in a “hey you never know” gesture of possibility, then began chuckling heartily.

She then launched into an explanation of the political turmoil in Yemen, ignoring the audience’s presidential urging.

Never going to happen.
The Clintons’ time as contenders for the top spot are over.
Which is why she is playing 3rd tier employee under obama hussein.

I agree.

He’d make up some excuse and drop out.

He’s now a huge liability for the Rats.

It’ll be hard for the Krintongs to decline, but they will.

Rush said today the Clinton camp is setting her up for a 2016 run, and they want her to run against Romney. However, if Zero keeps screwing up, who know what could happen this summer.

Especially after “Leak-gate” breaks wide open and it becomes rumored that Bill Clinton was behind it all...

I’ve never understood this fascination about Hillary Clinton, or why she is somehow the smartest woman in the world, or why she is the Democrats great hope, either as Obama’s VP running mate this year, or as pres. nominee in 2016.

When she ran in the 2008 primaries, it was a very depressing and disappointing campaign, even from the point of view of Democrats. Polls at the time showed she had some of the highest negatives ever recorded for a major party presidential candidate. Many polls suggested that she could not win the general election if she got the nomination.

Based on the Clintons history and her negatives, why does anyone think that Hillary riding in on a white horse will somehow save Obama, or win the presidency in 2016? I just don’t get the reasoning.

Well, could be that the Clinton’s and other Dems have decided to throw Barry under the bus. Or it could that all this is political posturing. Barry sure didn’t help himself at his news conference this week.

I can’t in my wildest imagination think that Barry would step aside.

So if Hill were to be the next nominee, would that happen at a convention? Since she hasn’t even been campaigning? Could his funds be assigned to her? In 2016, Hill won’t be a youngster.

Female vote, I guess, is the calculation, based on the assumption that it would go for the likes of Carol Doda motivated by a historical first.

I dunno. She’s still Hillary, and it was only really Bill they held affection for, while her colleagues in the senate despised her, and who composed the Super Delegates that dumped her over first chance they got, for the young guy with at least a little charm and a silver tongue—neither of which Hillary EVER possessed nor even claimed to possess.

She simply drove the message down the throats of all that she’s the smartest woman in the world and to just get on with her coronation please.

Obama dismantled all things Clinton, and while they wouldn’t have to build from scratch, they would have a job to do that Bill is no longer able to do so well, and alone, Hillary will never be Bill, nor even a fraction so loved.

I think she got that message in 2008, myself.

I can only answer for my tiny corner of the world.

I have a Dem friend (she makes me laugh) that was a delegate in the 2008 primary. She told me about the shennagins that went on to block the Hillary voters. It was pretty appalling. So if that went on thru out the country..it was a bought election.

We have our issues, no doubt, but talk about the lesser of two evils...Barry or Hillary. What a choice.

She’s running. If she succeeds, Hitlery will be one of three recent Presidents whom absolutely no one believes. Clintoon and Obama are the other two. Makes us feel all secure doesn’t it?
