Los Angeles County officials are investigating what appeared to be a pair of lungs found on a sidewalk in unincorporated South Los Angeles.
A citizen called to report what she thought were the organs about 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 13100 block of Avalon Boulevard, said Sgt. Robert Dean of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

They were not breathing when LAFD paramedics arrived on scene, but KABC is reporting they hit them with the paddles for 15 minutes, but unfortunately were not able to resuscitate them.
Hard to have anything insightful to say with news stories so devoid of facts and information.
On the other hand, I click on a thread about “possible lungs” found on a sidewalk in LA expecting to get entertained.
Serious comments in serious threads are welcome, but mandatory in a found lungs thread...not so much, IMHO.

Well if you saw the size of them “ARMS” (even though they really do look like human arms) the Second Amendment couldn’t protect you without the grace of and blessings a benevolent God.
Ahhhwwwnoold never had forearms anywhere near that size.
Guys that hunt Grizzly have my respect, any animal that can run 40 mph and their heart only beats 1 time per minute and can kill you (even after it is dead) especially if it really , really wants to...(you know, like it figured out that you just shot it in the heart)

Since there is a polite request above to post “anything useful” I will comply.
The customs of each country are different and sometimes unusual and shocking to inhabitants of other countries. In the country where I come from, the name of which is well known to many here, so I won’t repeat it needlessly and waste JimRob’s disk space, events such as finding body parts and especially lungs on city sidewalks are an every day occurrence, particularly around the times of national and religious holidays. There are celebrations and rituals which I won’t go into, feasts, rewards ceremonies and other such holy customs.
