Jerry Sandusky's trial in the Penn State scandal opened in graphic fashion Monday with the first witness testifying that the retired coach molested him in the locker-room showers and in hotels while trying to ensure his silence with gifts and trips to bowl games.

The man, now 28 and dubbed Victim 4 in court papers, left nothing to the imagination as he told the jury about the abuse he said he endured for five years beginning when he was a teenager in the late 1990s.

"I've denied it forever," he testified, looking straight at the prosecutor as Sandusky sat motionless nearby.

Sandusky, 68, faces 52 counts that he sexually abused 10 boys over 15 years. The former assistant football coach has denied the allegations. His arrest last year shamed the university and led to the ouster of beloved Hall of Fame coach Joe Paterno and Penn State's president.

Besides the DOE, grants could have been issued by the EPA and DOJ for various campus projects----including monies private Foundations from a variety of private charitable organizations AND funding from more traditional sources, such as corporate and private foundations.

I have commented in the past “who cares” about this story, when really serious issues face our nation. I was just going to do so again, until I read your post (and others here). You are right! This story can be used to help defeat all the homo perverts and their agenda of destroying America as we knew it. Yes, KNEW, because the LGBT crowd has ALREADY radically changed our society. And dismantle their stadium just to make sure. Personally, I believe collegiate “athletics” are a national disgrace and a distraction for secondary education. At most colleges and universities, the head coaches make far more money than the administration. I abhor the fact that these institutions, particularly those that are state-run and financed, are just farm clubs for “professional sports” franchises. But those who want to sit with a beer in front of their TV’s each weekend ( and who, for the most part probably didn’t go to college themselves) like this crap and don’t mind that the taxpayers are subsidizing their “entertainment.”

While no doubt true, this is a considerable reversal of the historical norm.

Down thru history, same sex games have focused on adult men with young boys, pre-pubescent to adolescent. Greece, Rome, India, Japan, the Muslim world, the Aztecs, Renaissance Italy, etc., etc. It is quite consistent. In most of these societies sex between adult men was considered a perversion or at least very odd.

Public acceptance of sex between two adult men is what is historically unusual.

The whole secondary education system ( not unlike the primary one) is a disgrace! It’s really no different than the “medical profession/ healthcare system.”
Professors who are marxist/socialist idealogues are collecting exorbitant “salaries” for simply being propagandists for their line of political thought. Everything they teach is taught through the prism of their ideology. They can twist Physics, or whatever, to fit how they want the population to think, even if it is counterintuitive or just plain wrong. At Berkeley, where I got an engineering degree many years ago, they didn’t even teach. They turned over undergraduate teaching to graduate students so they could work, unencumbered, on their grants from the government to do “research,” or to “publish” their thoughts on this or that! All the while, their “work year” was eight or nine months and they were paid outrageous amounts of money which went up each year as the government got further into the business of “student loans.” The whole thing, not just Penn State should be shut down for several years and completely overhauled.
