Saw on today's news that two doctors from Northwestn Hospital, located in the Gold Coast neighborhood were attacked by a group of eight or so thugs....the hospital put out a notice to their employees on how to protect themselves. Hit Rahm where it hurts...don't go to the Michigan Avenue area, and don't shop...and tourists should consider cities other than Chicago to visit. It is not safe. There are not enough police to cover the needs of a city this large. Rahm will not hire more cops... he'd rather give the money to his voter base..the gime-gime blacks who always have their hands out for more entitlements. Rahm also turns his back on these thugs when they commit crimes, and ties the hands of the Chicago Police Department to do the kind of police work they were trained to do. And the courts give them light to no sentences and out the door they go. And the thugs feel more empowered to commit more crimes ‘cause obozo, rahm, jesse jackson give them the green light to do so.
That's it in a nutshell in Chicago. Corruption, greed, pandering, all for the damn demo-socialist/communist/marxist vote..
maybe there's no MONEY for more cops...cops are expensive...so our firemen....ALL public employees are expensive due to excessive pay, benefits and those outrageous pensions....
you can't afford present cops and firemen if the past ones are taking all the money....
we should go back to the days of a sheriff and a volunteer posse....
heck...hire the Guardian Angels to be enforce.
