I admire the Evangelists for speaking the truth. In the first century the apostles and early missionaries faced similar derision.
Yes, but look where they went FIRST...to those most likely to understand, to those who were looking for the Messiah.
They hit the synagouges first, then gently to the seekers of God among the Gentiles (Cornelius, was it?)...Paul even went to the Greeks with limited success among their religious shrines. He didn’t, as far as I know, just walk into their perversion parties and start shouting the Torah over their proceedings.
Don’t get me wrong—I do believe there is a way to minister to people at these types of events. I believe the METHOD they chose wasn’t appropriate.
