At a fundraiser on Tuesday, President Obama said the debt and deficit her inherited is "baked in" structurally. "If they start trying to give you a bunch of facts and figures suggesting that it's true, what they're not telling you is they baked all this stuff into the cake," Obama advised his supporters.

"I love listening to these guys give us lectures about debt and deficits. I inherited a trillion-dollar deficit. We had a surplus, they turned it into a deficit, built it into a structural deficit that lasts for decades, and -- isn't that something?" President Obama said at a fundraiser today.
"This notion that somehow we caused the deficits is just wrong. It's just not true. Anybody who looks at the math will tell you it's not true. If they start trying to give you a bunch of facts and figures suggesting that it's true, what they're not telling you is they baked all this stuff into the cake with those tax cuts and a prescription drug plan that they didn't pay for and the wars," he said.
"So all of this stuff is baked in, with all the interest payments for it, it's like somebody goes to the restaurant, orders a big steak dinner, martini, all that stuff and then just as you're sitting down, they leave and accuse you of running up the tab. That's what they do," he said.

A Democrat Congress that Obama was a member of...or at least was present during.
He is lying about the deficit. 2008/2009 was TARP. It was a one-shot deal. If that is what he is talking about, he is lying. Same with his stimulus. It was a one-shot deal too. The only things “baked in” are entitlements and interest payments, AFAIK.
No, he is lying. The tax cuts and the wars are not permanent, he just chooses to continue them, and to blame Bush. The prescription drug plan is the only thing “baked in,” and it is NOT costing one trillion per year, AFAIK. I would assume if it were, the deficit would be larger.
Well, Obama...this is how it really is:
We were having financial problems and you boasted that you could help, you had all the answers, you were so very capable. So, we invited you to join us for a meal. Then you ordered expensive wine and hors d' oeuvres; Wagyu beef and your wife ordered several preparations of lobster. You also brought your kids and mother-in-law, relatives, and a large group of friends. They all indulged themselves and ordered expensive meals…and dessert. At the end of the meal we complained that we certainly couldn’t pay the tab and now have a worse financial problem. But you said it wasn’t your fault. And that you was just a guest and not responsible for the debt, since we were in trouble before you came to dinner. We will be sure never to invite you again.
Isn’t this the same guy who last week had a fundraiser dinner where you paid $35,000 to have dinner with Obama, and then he showed up late, said thank you, and left before dinner was served? A dinnerless dinner with Obama? And everybody was stuck with the check?
If that is true, then he’s leaving all of us with a massive mortgages for the entire country. Commie a$$h0le.
Since when has Obama EVER picked up the tab for a bill anyways? Even if he did he always pays with our money, not his own.
