Eric Holder: Forget Contempt, Let's Impeach
U S Daily Review ^ | 6-13-2012 | Tom Thurlow

Admittedly, I thought Eric Holder was damaged goods before he was nominated to be President Obama’s Attorney General. Recall that in January, 2001, President Bill Clinton was on his way out of office and suddenly a swarm of presidential pardons was announced, including pardons for two fugitives, 24 drug dealers, a child molester, and the president’s ne’er-do-well brother, Roger Clinton.

How come Holder can say "my people" and not be accused of racism?

Does it have to be impeachment ? Can congress just investigate him and his actions without using that formal procedure? It looks like we’ll be able to dump out of the O-crowd this November but that would serve as a lightning rod for the lefties and the soul-less independents.

No point in impeaching Holder. The Senate will never return a guilty, not if he shoots someone right on the Senate floor.

Keep Holder around until the election. He is an albatross around the neck of 0.

And how do we control him from his continued abuse of power?

Exactly. He lied to Congress and liberals and conservatives both (for different political reasons) want to give him a pass. Impeach.

Exactly that.

Since when does the Republican party care about the AG abusing power. Good ole Alberto, spy on Americans, comes to mind. Neither side has any moral standing on the issue. Holder needs to go but the political theater is a joke on all decent Americans. That doesn’t include bush supporters or Obama supporters who wipe their arse with the constitution.

From the article:

Assuming he loses his bid for re-election, President Obama will probably be in a pretty foul mood, and he may be tempted to pardon any number of people. He will probably have Eric Holder advising him on the pardons.

Does anyone here doubt that the first to be pardoned will be Mumia Abu-Jamal?

Lest we forget, the following Senate Republicans voted to confirm Eric Holder as Attorney General, even knowing about his involvement in the Marc Rich and other questionable pardons on the last day of the Clinton administration.

Bennett (R-UT)
Bond (R-MO)
Chambliss (R-Ga)
Collins (R-ME)
Corker (R-TN)
Graham (R-SC)
Grassley (R-IA)
Gregg (R-NH)
Hatch (R-UT)
Isakson (R-GA)
Kyl (R-AZ)
Lugar (R-IN)
McCain (R-AZ)
Murkowski (R-AK)
Sessions (R-AL)
Snowe (R-ME)
Specter (R-PA)
Voinovich (R-OH)

Don't worry about it. Can't happen.

Mumia was not convicted of a federal crime. Therefore, the President's pardon power does not extend to him.

Boy, that’s good news. However, Obama is very creative in his treachery. I’m sure his pardon list will rival that of Haley Barbour and Mike Huckabee.

Zero OWNS the Justice Dept.. The FBI and the CIA... and the NSA.. probably the Secret Service as well..

Bush kept most of the Clintoons attorneys at the Justice Department..
Was he stupid or complicit?.. or BOTH..

America is completely out of control..
As the UNIONS OWN the Police the Firefighters and the Teachers..

ALL who think Romney will cure this are delusional..
Romney is OWNED by the Unions..

America don’t seem to want an actual conservative as President..
The republicans rejected literally ALL the conservative candidates..

SO, don’t think a republican President will change anything..
except for a few bones thrown at some conservatives..
Like Bush did until his 2nd term when he became a tool for the Donkeys..
You know, and made Obama possible..

Isakson and Chambliss are my senators and real pieces of work they are...

And you’re right, they’d never vote for conviction either.

How come Holder can say "my people" and not be accused of racism?

Why does Obama repeatedly refer to "My White House," and not be ridiculed for megalomania and delusion?

I cringe every time he does that. From Eisenhower through Bush 43, I can't recall another president being so blatantly, in-your-face presumptuous.

The White House belongs to the American people. Only the classless would suggest otherwise.

And how do we control him from his continued abuse of power?

Exactly.
Citizens often speculate how an egregious abuser, practitioner of the arbitrary and capricious can be dealt with, specially when the other branches of government have sunk into fear, timidity and overdoses of "dignity."

Now we know.
Stonewall.
No consequences, no problem.

So what's the alternative?

Holder does nothing that the regime does not want him to do. If you get rid of this toady, the next will be just the same. The only thing we can do is win the election, and then impeach.
