A federal lawsuit by battalion chiefs of the Clark County Fire Department against the county disappeared Tuesday with little fanfare.
Fearful that county officials might decertify their union, the “batt-chiefs” sued the county after the county refused to guarantee it would not make a decertification attempt. The matter was quickly ended in court, though, when the county agreed not to seek decertification — for now.

What is bizarre about this is you have firefighter “management” acting on behalf of the union. What a vile racket these public sector unions have become.
End the government unionizing against America, it is just too irrational.
If I was one of the County officials there would be a few battalion chiefs on unpaid leave until the board considered termination.
similar to school principals....they always want more for their teacher friends because it means their own pay increases proportionately....
