The Kennedys are the Kennedys, Scott Brown

Take it for what’s it’s worth, Scott Brown, because after all I’m addressing you in the Herald, and “the Boston Herald is the Boston Herald,” as Granny Warren, the Native American emeritus, said yesterday on MSNBC (where else?).

But here at the Boston Herald, that is the Boston Herald, I’m telling you, Scott, don’t even think about another debate at the Ted Kennedy All-You-Can-Drink Happy Hour Institute.

Tom Brokaw? Yeah, he’s “respected” all right. By moonbats. Forget the exploding trucks of yesteryear, let’s look at what his alma mater NBC did just this week, and by NBC, I also mean MSNBC and CNBC, where all bad economic news for Barack is “unexpected.”

Wednesday afternoon, Granny Warren goes on MSNBC with Comrade Chris Matthews. The leg-tingler mentions the local Democrats’ “wine-and-cheese elitism that Howie Carr likes to bash into” — thanks Chris, every knock a boost, as they say. But then he describes you to Granny as “this guy Brown,” as in, “He’s with the elites, he’s getting money from them, you’re not.”

Comrade Chris, maybe you didn’t get the memo: The fake Indian raises more money on Wall Street than this guy Brown. George Soros hosted a fundraiser for her in Manhattan last fall. Granny explained her Wall Street haul in January by saying that her money-changers “want reform ... there are people on Wall Street who actually believe we need better rules, fairer rules.”

And that’s why the Wall Street greedheads give her millions and millions. So she can crack down on them. If you believe that, you probably still believe she’s an Indian, which is what she claimed yet again yesterday on “Morning Joe,” hosted by a RINO.

Didn't Brown come out yesterday with a proposal that JP Morgan executives who got bonuses be forced to give the bonuses back?

I'm no fan of JP Morgan, or modern banking in general, but what kind of politician sees money that has been paid to corporate officers and declares, "You shouldn't have that!" I'll tell you what kind of politician -- a radical left wing extremist.

—what disgusts me in all of the J.P. Morgan hoopla is that Jon Corzine—The One’s financial genius is still free after losing a couple billion of other peoples money——

Agreed. I am a MA resident and within my state, Scott Brown and Mitt Romney are seen as zealous rightwing extremists who hate poor people and want rich people to pay no taxes.

I voted for Scott Brown last time.
Elizabeth Warren is worse than Scott Brown.
But Scott Brown has shown himself to be undeserving of my vote. He'll have to get elected without my vote in November, because I don't vote for leftists, and I don't vote for the lesser of two evils. I oppose evil, I don't support it.

Same goes for Mitt.

I don’t know if Mitt can get to 270 electoral votes without Massachusetts. Nixon managed to in 1972, but it was a squeaker.

If Scott Brown’s win puts the Senate in the GOP’s hands, it will be enough.

In fairness, I believe Brown was referencing “clawback” provisions in the executive contracts, that allow for the recouping of bonuses paid out in the event they turn out to be undeserved. If the company loses 2 billion because of bad decisions, the company should penalize the decision-makers, consistent with a free marketplace. What I don’t want to see done is the government insinuating itself in the process. My understanding may be incomplete, but I didn’t think Brown was calling for government action.

I didn’t think Brown was calling for government action.

You are probably right about that.

But Brown is a politician. He's running for re-election. When he gives his opinion on something, he may not be explicitly calling for government action, but in that case, I don't see why he should speak on the matter at all.

When Sean Penn says something stupid about corporations, I say "Who the heck are you??". If Scott Brown says something about corporations, if he's not calling for government action, I have to ask, "Who the heck are you??"

This is what Leftists do -- whether explicit or not, most everything they say has an implied "There oughta be a law against that ..." clause.

By not voting you certainly do.

If you do not vote, you can't complain in here, or anywhere for that matter, on the results of the election.

I live in MA. My past votes for Republicans really don't matter much.

And I will continue to complain in here if I feel like it, thank you very much. The GOP does not own my vote. They have to earn it. They haven't.

When your only realistic option is to vote for the lesser of 2 evils you vote for the lesser evil. The control of the U.S. senate is at stake. As a staunch conservative Romney is my least favorite candidate. Will I vote for him or waste my vote by voting for an unelectable 3rd party candidate thereby helping the democrats? I will vote for Romney. There’s too much at stake to allow the democrats to continue to screw up this country.

With more people like you Harry Reid will never have to worry about moving out of the Majority Leaders office.

vote your conscience. One vote more or less for Romney in MA isn’t going to change things, FL would be another matter
