Any such program can only be authorized by the Congress. Obama has no constitutional authority to grant this. I have some sympathy for those who were brought here as young children and face deportation back to a country they have never known, but this act is blatantly illegal.
They face deportation along with their parents. I have no sympathy for lawbreakers. Under the Dream Act, these “children” could be up to 35 years old. And why should we be be authorizing work permits while 23 million legal residents of this country are looking for jobs.?
I have no sympathy for those brought here illegally. Either you have laws or you don’t.
If this is allowed to stand, we don’t have laws. We don’t even have a country.
