America’s Bureaucratized Counterterror Apparatus At Work
Terror Trends Bulletin ^ | 16 June 2012 | Unattributed

America is hamstrung in its efforts to defend itself from Jihadist terrorists by a remarkable denial in law enforcement, homeland security, intelligence and military circles as to the nature of our enemy and the threat we face.

This stems partly from political correctness and ignorant assumptions about our enemy and his doctrine.

But it also is the result of effective influence operations run by the Muslim Brotherhood to control how we ourselves describe our enemies and speak about our enemies. This has reached the point at which the Obama administration has openly embraced the Muslim Brotherhood overseas in nations like Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and, evidently, Syria...

I urge you to view the short videos below. I do not like terms like, “violent Islamic extremism” or “radical Islam,” but they are a far sight better than the terms our bureaucratized counterterrorism apparatus uses to describe the threat.

I don’t think the point took much reaching before Obama embraced the Muslim Brotherhood, another name for al-Qaida. He was already there. And not recognizing the true nature of the enemy is only half our problem. A failure in our own reasoning is the other. For instance, Hillary just made a speech about how Democracy must not be trampled on by Egypt’s military, my words for her drivel. She had earlier made a speech about how Democracy was going to instill tolerance and Western values into the Islamic populace of Egypt and the Mideast. Surprisingly, a lot of our intelligentsia agree with her, including many on the right. I don’t know if we’ve grown too far away from the enlightenment, the Reformation and the impact of Christianity on reason and our Western values, or if fears of global warming have made people stupid. But here is a simple rule. The values we put into something are the values we get out of it. Islamic values in, Islamic values out. It wasn’t Islamic values that brought tiny hints of Western liberalism to Iran or even Libya. Islamic values won’t sustain liberal ideas in Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, or any other Islamic nation we want to experiment with. The only values in Democracy are the ones the Democratic body puts into it. The values put into Democracy in the West demanded limited government and individual liberty. As Socialism and serfdom polluted those values, Democracy took on new purpose. With Islam, there are no limits to Islamic authority, no tolerance, no individual liberty, and Democracy, short lived as it will likely be, won’t change that.

Gee, I wonder why our Muslim led government is hand rapping infidels at the airports and classifying them as domestic terrorists!
