On Friday, President Barack Obama issued an executive order that will allow illegal immigrants who came to the United States before they were 16 years old and are younger than 30 years of age to be allowed to remain in the country without the fear of being deported.
However, thosewho have been convicted of a felony, significant misdemeanor, or three or more other misdemeanor offenses that did not happen on the same date and not coming out of the same act, omission, or scheme of misconduct cannot be considered for deferred action under the new process.
This announcement is contradictory to the president's remarks over a year ago, which make his actions look even more desperately political in the face of a rough re-election cycle and falling poll numbers. After a Daily Caller reporter questioned President Obama on this recent executive order, Obama, visibly annoyed, said, "It is the right thing to do for the American people, and heres why. He spoke with forked tongue, the lame criminal.
Today in his weekly address to the nation, Obama had this nugget of gem tucked in - Republicans havent lifted a finger for job creation.
Either he has the biggest balls (contrast to his other actions so far), or he’s totally losing it in front of our eyes.
How does he think he can get away with it?
Unfortunately he didn’t issue an EO. He made a “Policy Statement” as to how DHS and ICE should spend their limited resources. Use them to catch and deport “Bad Guy” illegals whom cause all the problems and leave the good citizen illegals until DHS gets a chance to get down to that low level. Allocation of resources to a targeted problem is good management. This was just an election year, vote-getting, walking the line between legal and illegal actions photo-op.
Unfortunately he didn’t issue an EO which, BTW, would be unconstitutional and illegal. Instead he made a “Policy Statement” as to how DHS and ICE should spend their limited resources. Use them to catch and deport “Bad Guy” illegals whom cause all the problems and leave the good citizen illegals until DHS gets a chance to get down to that low level. Allocation of resources to a targeted problem is good management for anyone but O’Dumbo. This was just an election year, vote-getting, walking the line between legal and illegal actions photo-op.
I can see them lining up as we speak (not) if they are here already why expose yourself to scrutiny?
The only part that is wrong is that it is not an excutive order,it is a Policy directive to Homeland security to stop Deportations
