CORNWALL, Pa. — Finishing the second day of his bus tour in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, an impassioned Mitt Romney declared that he would carry the Keystone State this fall.

Referencing remarks made during a warm-up speech by Rep. Jim Gerlach, in which he suggested the crowd would have to “convince” Romney that he can win Pennsylvania this fall, Romney came bounding off his bus to tweak the representative’s remarks.

“He said that you guys need to convince me that I’m going to win Pennsylvania,” Romney said. “I’ve got news for you, congressman, I am going to win Pennsylvania.”

A friend of mine lives there and says he’s not at all liked, in fact she says he’s hated there.

PA is a tough nut to crack. why ? Because of Philadelphia and to a lesser extent Pittsburgh. If we are going to carry it this time, we have to get the elusive 30+ female vote in the Philly suburbs and the 30+ tradional democratic males around Pittsburgh.

its not impossible.. but we always seem to fall short. a lot of things have to go right for a Republican to carry that state in a Presidential election.

Good. He should be saying this about PA, OH, MI, WI, IA, etc.

Be confident and campaign far and wide.

This will make it much harder for Hussein.

Romney seems to be doing better lately but there are still five months until the actual election. That leaves plenty of time for gaffes and negative information to surface.

I'd like to think that obama’s poll numbers will continue to decline and they may. In fact they should. However the MSM will continue to churn out their usual propaganda.

To win PA (and other rust belt states), Romney has to hit back hard on those commercials of weepy 50-something factory workers who supposedly are ruined because of Mitt. The sob stories are effective for folks who have been through the same uncertainty in life, or know someone who has, regardless of who is to blame (Romney didn’t hire these people twenty years ago and then mismanage their retirement funds for two decades, all he did was let them know they were lied to all those years.)

He would have to make the case with a minimum of explaination though, time spent explaining is time spent losing ground.

He will win every state that wants work. Is PA one of them? The welfare class makes it touchy.

He seems to be getting a handle on the gaffes. Not likely to be much in the way of new negative data - they'll have to recycle what has already been dudg up.

14 million people and your friend knows that they all hate Romney?

Psychic?

Does she do card tricks?

In the vast red land, Romney will win, in Philly and Pburg, he will lose. The question is how many times will Lazarus vote?

Romney, unmasked, has NO chance.

NONE. ZERO.

Which is why the GOPe/Soros/DNC/MSM chose
the loser who installed RomneyCARE AND gay marriage.

Romney has ONLY his delusions, and a long, long
history of backstabbing .... conservatives.

Most people dislike Mr. RomneyCARE because
he introduced ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE and then lied about it.

Most people dislike Mr. RomneyCARE because
he introduced gay marriage and then lied about it.

Most people dislike Mr. RomneyCARE because
he introduced the BIG DIG coverup and then lied about it.

Most people dislike Mr. RomneyCARE because
he introduced backstabbing conservartives and then lied
about it.

FRiend, actually, Mr. RomneyCARE’s cheating and LIES
are the ‘broken record’.

The GOP party is ROTTEN from its HEAD DOWN
and if Myth has his way, the GOP will
feature ROMNEYCARE/OBAMACARE for all.

Mr. RomneyCARE will also support TARP, Sharia,
global warming and EVERY OTHER DNC agenda,
likes his DNC/DU supporters.

At the end of the day, the GOP has thrown Away a great
opportunity, consistent with Team Romney’s
attacks on Gov. Palin on the EVE of Election 2008.

Yawn. Dude you have become BORING.
Your posts win nobody over.

In his seminal work how to win friends and influence people Dale Carnegie clearly shows why such discourse gets you nothing.

In A Nutshell Part 3 - Twelve Ways To Win People To Your Way Of Thinking • 1 - You Can't Win an Argument.

You can't and your cookie cutter attacks on Mitt gain you little.
But, you are getting better at having people ignore you.

While I am no fan of Mitt, I am going to vote to defeat Obama, that is the way that it is, and you will make no headway against anyone who feels this way; that defeating the O is what is critical.

You are mistaken.

Neither REAL CONSERVATISM nor the fight for it
in ‘America under Assault’ is “BORING”.

You will not ever convince anyone that 0bama is a better choice. Not ever. That’s just stupid.

Notwithstanding the above, your strawman argument makes you look, well, like a liberal.

Vote for who you wish. We all will.

My estimation is that your hatred for Mitt Romney is greater than that of 99% of all people who have ever voted for a Republican. That is to say, it is not significant.
