They were armed with short-barrelled machine guns and carried alsatian dogs. The remaining windows were smashed and the dogs thrown inside.
Scaling down a building while holding a dog takes some skill. Smashing the window while holding the dog and then tossing the dog in takes even more skill. BTW, I had to look up Alsatian to see what kind of dog it is. It is a German Shepherd, just a different name.
Evidently the breed is from the Alsace (Elsass) region. Therefore it's a GermanFrenchGermanFrenchGermanFrench Shepherd.
