(ProLifeCorner.com) – A large school bus, owned by Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy, that is well known throughout Rockford for its beautiful pro-life pictures and words asking people to “pray to end abortion”, was fire bombed on Friday night. The damage was extensive to the bus as windows were broken in on both sides and fire bombs were thrown inside to cause maximum damage.It has been speculated that this bombing of a pro-life Christian school bus is in retaliation for the closing of the Rockford abortion mill that is located not far from where the school bus was attacked.

This school is run a tight budget. IF the bus is insured against vandalism/sabotage, the insurance rates will go up. The school can't really take that kind of hit. Small class sizes, traditional Catholic morality, lay run, academically oriented, low tuition, financial-aid for those who need it, means a great school run on a very tight budget. Oh, and one of their top teachers is the wife of a Freeper.

I was the head of the school board of a small Catholic school so I understand what you mean. I was just pointing out that violence and vandalism does not necessarily affect those who are the would be targets.

the balloon heads who do things like this, more often than not, affect people who might be their own insurers....We buy the school a $150,000 bus...and YOUR rates go up...brilliant!!!!

The local lefty daily newspaper, the Rockford Register Star, didn't even see fit to report it.

Yet, this would have been all over the MSM for at least two or three days if it had been an abortion clinic that was firebombed.
