I strongly endorse "Great Destroyer" and blurbed it on the back cover. But also, a heads up: "A Patriot's History of the Modern World, From America's Exceptional Ascent to the Atomic Bomb, 1898-1945" will appear in October. It is every bit as good as "Patriot's History of the U.S." (And, while the publisher doesn't want me to say so, it is vol. 1, with vol. 2, "From the Cold War to Obama's unelection, 1946-1912," will be out next year.---my suggested title, but the vol. is correct).
