Doesn’t make any difference to the NBC folks. They think Vattel’s definition trumps not only all US statutory law, but also Blackstone, the Common Law, and the 14th Amendment. No sense in arguing with them.
Of the three the one that comes foremost into play against the Constitution’s reliance on Vattel is the 14th Amendment and even this one does not negate what the Founding Fathers intended by discourse.
